About BCANA

BCANA is the Bucks County Division of Narcotics Anonymous. We have many locations spanning across the county, from Southampton to Levittown to Morrisville. Between all of our groups, we hold meetings from morning to night, 7 days a week. Many of our groups even hold meetings on major holidays, so you'll always have a safe place to go no matter the time.

You

Are welcome to stop by at any of our locations, anytime. We love new members and others seeking recovery. Many of our meetings are open to the anyone, not just addicts. If you're not sure you belong, come and find out. If you're shy, though, be ready for a warm welcome!

Us

We have hundreds of members dispersed through over 37 different groups that focus on different themes, such as the 12 steps, NA literature, basic recovery principles, suggestions of the program, and many exciting topics .

Together

We share our experience, strength, and hope - seeking common ground, freedom from obsession and compulsion - finding hope for a life free from using drugs .

Our Beliefs

NA believes that an addict, any addict, can stop using drugs, lose the desire to use, and find a new way of life. NA believes in a 12 step plan to recovery. Through coming to meetings, sharing our experiences, and working the 12 steps we find a new way to live.

We admitted that we were powerless over our addiction and that our lives had become unmanageable.
We came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
We made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him
We made a fearless and moral inventory of ourselves
We admitted to ourselves, to God, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs
We were entirely ready to have God remove all of these defects of character

We humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings
We made a list of all persons we had harmed and became willing to make amends to them all
We made direct amends wherever possible except when to do so would injure them or others
We continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it
We sought through pray and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out
Having had a spiritual awakening as a result of these steps, we tried to carry the message to addicts and to practice these principles in all our affairs

Helping each other to recover.
